Raisins with clarified butter or ghee for the relief of acute and chronic constipation - A Clinical Study

Background: Constipation is a very distressful symptom, affecting to all age group. The only treatment laxatives, which having many adverse effects mainly dependency on laxatives.
 Purpose: To evaluate the laxative effect of raisins and get relief from daily medicines for acute chronic constipation
 Methods: Interventional / Experimental study clarified butter or ghee performed at ‘Vishwaraj Hospital’ Pune, Maharashtra, India March 2021 June 2021, after appropriate ethical approval obtained Vishwaraj Hospital’s Ethics Committee (Registration number- ECR/1138/Inst/MH/2018). Fifty one patients constipation who were laxatives PR enema enrolled in this study, diagnosis confirmed by gastro-enetrologist. Laxatives had been asked stop before enrollment. Questionnaire form given time enrollment telephonic follow up OPD visiting admit taken 2nd day consumption then 7th 15th day. Forms collected once they visit their respective doctors up.
 Results: Statistical tool used 95 % confidence interval. variables interest 1) percent have restarted not 2) number days required constipation. 94.12 (n=48) did restart population that might would be 88% 100% with confidence. Also patient 3-4 
 Conclusion: Raisins CB constipation; worked well irritable bowel syndrome, fissure ano, hemorrhoids helped bleeding bloating causes these diseases. Patients got 3rd 4th This concluded can instead great substitute per rectum enema.
